On October 22, 2016 volunteers from across the county came together for Make a Difference Day. This day of service started in 1992 with the intent to bring professionals and volunteers together to serve the community for the greater good. This year, the Assistance League of Tucson held a book drive and over 500 books were so kindly donated- and SACAC was privileged to be the recipient of these books! These books will be available to children who visit the Center and help provide a child-friendly, welcoming environment and help ease their nerves during their appointment.
Thank you, Tucson Assistance League for your generous donation and continued support!
